I spent years in senior business roles before I dared to ask a simple question: why is work so often joyless — and what would change if it weren’t?
I already held a PhD in Organisational Communication when I went back to research — this time with a focus on humour at work. In parallel, I stepped onto a comedy stage to learn, the hard way, how humour really works.
In 2019 I founded Leading With Humour to bring those two worlds together: the rigour of behavioural science and the craft of a stand-up. I also hold an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge. Today I speak and advise for organisations across the world — from Unilever and LinkedIn to EDF and BPI France — and I’m a guest speaker at some of the best business schools and universities, such as Cambridge, HEC Paris and Oxford.
I write a column for Harvard Business Review France, I’ve authored two books on leadership, and I’ve been recognised among the top Leadership & Management voices on LinkedIn. But the thing I’m proudest of is simpler: people leave my sessions lighter, closer, and ready to lead differently.
